George Gray and the Elvis Experience Band to focus on Gospel and Abuse Prevention

by George on September 18, 2014

Spiritually, Emotionally, and Physically, George Gray and the Elvis Experience Band connect on all 3!

Over the years George Gray and the Elvis Experience Band has incorporated Gospel and Inspirational music in their concerts, usually singing “How Great Thou Art”.  Elvis loved Gospel music and really wanted to sing more of it but his manager didn’t see it paying off.  Although his Gospel recording gained great recognition including 3 Grammy Awards, Elvis never did a Gospel only concert.

This opportunity is very exciting for us and we will perform close to 30 songs that we think will move and inspire you!  The event is coming up fast and will be held in Loveland, Colorado at the historic Rialto Theater on Sunday, Sept 28th at 2pm.  This theater dates back to the silent film days and recently went through a complete renovation while still keeping with the original intimate feel.  Click here for ticket information, Rialto Theater.

Abuse in any relationship is horrible and finding help can seem impossible.  On Saturday, Oct 25th from 7-9pm George Gray and the Elvis Experience Band will partner with “Help for Abused Partners”, a non-profit located in Sterling, CO.  This fundraiser will help support this wonderful organization that provides prevention and intervention for the problem of domestic violence and dating violence.  Their services include a 24 hour hotline, Emergency shelter and food, counseling, and Community Education and Outreach.  Click here for more information, “Help for Abused Partners

Don’t forget our other concerts in November with the Band returning to the Fort Collins Senior Center and then finishing up the year with the 7th annual, “Elvis Through the Years” concert in Greeley at the Union Colony Civic Center Nov 21st.  Check out our “Shows” page for more info.

George Gray and the Elvis Experience Band is looking for other venues and opportunities to perform and they would love to hear from you on suggestions you think they should pursue.  Please feel free to contact us on our “Contact” page or leave a comment on our Guest Book page if you’d like to help!
