Follow George Gray and the Elvis Experience Band in 2013
The start of every year is a time for George Gray and the Elvis Experience Band to plan and book upcoming gigs for the year. Last year was one of our biggest with several corporate bookings and big crowd attendances at our concerts. Is there a place you’d like to see George Gray and the Elvis Experience Band perform? Send us a message HERE!
With so many performances under our belt, I’m starting to acquire a nice collection of outfits. I love getting new jumpsuits because of the visual aspects of the show but to also keep our shows fresh. My newest one, worn for the first time at our Christmas with the King concert on Nov 26th, 2012, is called the Burnin’ Love suit. This suit is a brilliant red with shiny gold metal nail-heads that really sparkle in the lights and is becoming one of my favorites. The most popular suit is the Aloha jumpsuit which Elvis wore during his ’73 Aloha Concert. My suit is a replica made by a professional costume company that still has Elvis’s original jumpsuit designer working with them. This suit is very heavy, so heavy that I can’t wear the cape too long without it pulling me backwards.
Not only are booking new shows and top priority but also choosing new songs. With so many to choose from, we really try to make sure that we do those that have a great tune and beat. I think you’ll enjoy those that we are rehearsing and will perform this year. Of course these songs wouldn’t be great if it wasn’t for the awesome band and backup singers. A big hit this year was the dancers that joined us at our holiday concert. These ladies added a whole new element to the show and we are looking forward to them joining us on stage again.
